• The Watchmen trailer is available online. Looks like it\’s faithful to the comic.

  • The New York Times has a good article about the architecture of all the new buildings going up at an incredible pace in Beijing. I visited there 5 years ago and there were construction cranes and huge skyscrapers going up all over. I bet I wouldn\’t even recognize anymore.

  • Awesome popsicle moulds of Lego minifigures. Now I can finally finish my Lego reenactment of the Wicked Witch\’s death scene from Wizard of Oz.

  • Concept Ships is a cool blog dedicated to scf-fi spaceship art. I love this kind of stuff.

  • Stripper arrested for subway pole dances

The professional pole dancer worked quickly all week to avoid arrest, getting on at one station, finding a subway car with no children on it and stripping in time to exit at the next station.

Note to self: Move to Santiago. Lucky Chileans. While they had a stripper on their train I was stuck with the crazy old religious lady who prayed loudly the entire trip.

  • This is so cool: Hotel Everland, a temporary, one-room hotel on the roof of the Palais de Tokyo museum in Paris with a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower. It includes a king-size bed, lounge, bathroom, minibar, and a record collection. Very swanky. I love the toilet.
