This article
says that Napster actually helped Radiohead\’s Kid A reach number 1 on
the charts. Mp3s of songs on the album were available months ago, yet
when the album was actually released it still reached number 1.
Apparently mp3s are similar to radioplay, so Radiohead gets lots of
exposure. Very cool.
