Possibly the coolest school-related news I\’ve ever posted, for my project class my group will do a distributed network of Linux machines. This is similar to the Beowulf project at NASA. It\’s essentially a whole bunch of computers working together, and the workload is distributed among the computers, so you get a fast and cheap supercomputer. The problem is, we have absolutely no idea where to start. I know a little Linux, but I don\’t think any of the other members have experience with it. It\’ll still be a lot of fun though.
