The 15 Best Skylines in the World. I\’ve been to Shanghai and it\’s just amazing. It\’s a really vibrant, metropolitan city. It seemed like it was even denser than New York. Lots of new skyscrapers were going up, and there was construction everywhere. I don\’t agree that Guangzhou deserves an honorable mention, though. I was there last year and it was kind of a dump. It was just old and run down.
