This is weird. Apparently in Japan men are embarassed to be seen eating cakes in public. So a store recently opened that disguises girly cakes as more manly hamburgers.

The Mamido burger, for instance, which sells for Â¥390 ($3.25 at Â¥120 to the dollar), is a highlight of the menu. The \”bun\” is actually a sponge cake, the \”patty\” inside is chocolate cream, and the \”pickles\” are kiwis.

Now if only they could find a way to disguise an ice cream cone, cause no matter how macho you are, you look like a wuss eating an ice cream cone.

This reminds me of vegetarian places that disguise their food to look like meat. What the fuck? You\’re not fooling anyone with that tofu shaped like a ham.
