A Hungarian architect invented a light-transmitting concrete called LiTraCon. Thousands of optical fibers embedded in the concrete allow light to pass through. It\’s not transparent like glass, but if something\’s blocking the light the shadow will appear on the other side. Apparently the concrete is just as strong as regular concrete. I can\’t wait till they start making freeways out of this stuff. That\’s gonna rule.
