Here\’s an interesting article about the Army\’s research efforts to develop a sandwich that\’ll last 3 years. The result is 2 sandwiches, pepperoni and barbecued chicken, which retain moisture yet don\’t get moldy. The reporter says they actually taste pretty good too. Looks like I have some new items to add to my apocalypse stockpile.
