A couple of weeks ago I posted a cool case mod where a dude put a LCD in the front of a Shuttle small form factor computer. Well his efforts were rewarded cause the Register reports that Shuttle gave the guy a contract to create a design prototype. Nice to see a company that pays attention to the little guy.

On a similar note, my old computer finally died so I\’m putting together a Shuttle system for myself. It\’s got a ton of built-in stuff: ethernet, audio, USB 2.0 and firewire. The on-board video sucks but it has an AGP slot so I can drop in a kick ass video card. Hopefully the LCD thing is a simple mod, I don\’t want to have to get a new computer already.
