After reading this article about Kinder Surprise Eggs, I had to find out for myself what the fuss was about. Kinder eggs are chocolate eggs with little build-it-yourself toys inside. They\’re sold everywhere in the world except the U.S. cause the toys are considered a choking hazard. Anyway, once we got to Vancouver we found a market and got some Kinder eggs. The chocolate egg was pretty good, but I was disappointed by the surprise inside. I got a crappy jigsaw puzzle of a purple hippopotamus. Hmph. Purple hippo. But now I wanna get more eggs to try to get cooler toys. I guess that\’s why they\’re so popular. They bait you with crappy surprises so you buy more to try to get the cool toys.
