Another dull Friday night. I\’m going to see The Cell in about half an hour, so that\’ll keep me occupied for a while. I drove around Orange County for 4 hours today and I almost finished a roll of film. I was sort of depressed cause everything looks the same and there wasn\’t anything interesting to see. Same mini-malls, industrial parks, farmlands, and streets.

I\’ve only lived in 2 cities my entire life, Pasadena and Irvine. And, to me anyway, they\’re fairly different. So maybe I was naive expecting other cities to have more character. Maybe it\’s not necessarily the rest of America that looks so homogenized, but LA sure as hell is.
