It always makes my day when the latest issue of my favorite comic is out. On Friday I stopped by a local comic shop and picked up Optic Nerve #7. If you\’ve never read Optic Nerve or anything by Adrian Tomine, do so immediately. Optic Nerve has some of the most realistic, compelling stories I\’ve ever read. His characters could easily be people I\’ve known or met throughout my life. His stories have sad endings, but that\’s how life is. If you\’re still hesitant, read these two one-page strips.
