When I was a kid, I wanted to do the kind of stuff Survival Research Laboratories does. They build machines such as the Air Launcher, which launches explosive rounds at 500 mph, and the Flame Whistle, the loudest flamethrower in the world made out of a Boeing jet engine. Once in a while SRL puts on big outdoor shows where the machines pretty much destroy each other. Those pansy Robot Wars have nothing against SRL.
