On a budget of just $500 The Purchase Brothers made Escape From City 17, a live-action short film based on Half-Life 2. It looks really good: the props, costumes and settings look faithful and the sound effects are straight out of the game. I can\’t wait for the next part.

The Simpsons episode last night was the first one in HD. They re-did the credits in HD too, which you can see here. I love how the TV at the end is widescreen.

Ultra-high resolution, cleaned-up, de-logoed coverart of classic Lucasarts games. I\’m totally going to print some Monkey Island posters.

That\’s 771 times she\’s failed the written test, she hasn\’t even gotten to the driving test yet! Hey granny, it\’s time to invest in a bus pass.
