The Tunnel House is so cool. These artists took a house that was to be demolished and turned it into an art piece. Looks like something from the end of Poltergeist.

Artist Tim Knowles sent a box with a hidden camera through the mail. The camera was set to take a picture every 10 seconds and it recorded the entire trip in 6994 frames. At around frame 5120 you can see the mailman pulled over on the side of the road smoking a doobie.

Plasma Pong – Pong with fluid dynamics. Instead of the vaccuum of space, this version of pong takes place in a fluid where the ball follows the moving currents. And it\’s also really pretty to look at. There\’s also a cool sandbox mode where you can just play around with everything.

Heh heh, pretty clever: tents in the shape of a car. Imagine camping out in one of these on top of Half Dome in Yosemite!

The new Grand Theft Auto 4 trailer is out. It looks soooo badass. I hope it comes out on PC soon after the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Man set for execution wants to die laughing
A Texas man scheduled to be executed on Tuesday wants to die laughing.
Patrick Knight, 39, has been soliciting jokes on the Internet and plans to tell one of them before receiving a lethal injection…
Guy\’s about to die and he wants to do material. How about \”Take my life, please\”? Maybe some observational humor? \”What\’s the deal with lethal injections?\”

SimCity DS finally came out last week. Just in time too, cause I just got an R4. It\’s real slick, you just copy, er, backup copies of games you already own onto the R4 and it plays them perfectly. I also installed ScummVM DS and now I can play Monkey Island on my DS. Ah, technology.

So I went to the Skinny Puppy show last night. It was so amazing. I\’ve wanted to see them live for 12 years now and I finally got the chance. They did not disappoint. They had a fairly simple stage set up: big drum kit in the middle and all the keyboards and electronics on the right, both on risers. There was a bloody screen on the left, which Ogre sang behind for some songs and did all his shadow stuff. Then videos were projected on a big screen behind the band and on a white sheet that was hung across the exposed legs of the risers. It all looked really cool when the videos and lights were going off. The songs were great live, especially with the improv and different intros and stuff. They played a good mix of old songs and tracks from the new album.

Some of the first pics of the new Batman costume and the Batpod came out. (No, the Batpod isn\’t Batman\’s iPod). Thank god they didn\’t add nipples to the costume.

Cool video of a Special Ops extraction onto a helicopter. Imagine this video in reverse and with a car – that\’s how I leave the office at 6:30 every day.
