• Armstrong says he\’s victim of \’setup\’; WADA to review lab work

Armstrong\’s comment came after Dick Pound, head of the World Anti-Doping Agency, said officials had received the lab results and would review them. Armstrong also said that while Pound might trust the lab that tested the samples, \”I certainly don\’t.\”

    Heh heh heh, Dick Pound.

  • This is a cool gallery of subway architecture. Lots of really beautiful subway stations. Some of them look like palaces and museums.

  • The Sin City DVD came out yesterday, but if you liked the movie you might want to hold off on that barebones release: according to this interview with Robert Rodriguez, there\’s a great special edition coming soon.

We\’ll shoot the full books, but in editing I\’ll just figure out what stuff we need to cut to make it flow as a feature for the theatrical release so people can sit there and in under two hours see sort of a resemblance what the movie is. But when it goes to DVD, we can do a special edition where the second disc can have the stories separated out in the full cuts so that you can see it the way you would read the books.

  • \"Drivey\"Drivey is a neat little \”game\” with ultra-minimalist graphics. I find it relaxing and hypnotic to look at. It\’s just a demo at this point, but you can at least use it as a screensaver.

Remember that dumb kid from elementary school who would do anything you dared him?…

  • A short trailer for Half-Life 2: Aftermath is available. Looks like it takes place right after Half-Life 2, so I guess it\’s not just a clever title.

  • Mother Missed Signs of \’Choking Game\’

What killed him in May was the \”choking game,\” one of the names for a practice in which children use their hands, arms, ropes or belts to cut oxygen to their brains and pass out.

Darwin at work here. Stupid kids. Whatever happened to sniffing model glue to get high?

  • Starship Dimensions, graphical comparisons of a whole bunch of sci-fi spaceships. It looks like he has ships from every sci-fi movie, tv show, and cartoon out there, even obscure stuff like the Gunstar from The Last Starfighter. A star destroyer could kick the Enterprise\’s ass.
