And the Delusional Corporation of 2004 award goes to…US Airways. They really have balls to ask their employees to work for free. If I worked for US Airways I\’d tell them to go fuck themselves.

The new trailer for Sin City is out. It looks pretty badass.

Subversive street art. Heh heh, clever.

Half-Life 2: Under the Surface is a huge article analyzing the game. It\’s a very academic article, looking at characterizations, ideologies, and themes. After reading this, I\’m all the more impressed by Valve and the amount of time they must\’ve spent crafting and fine-tuning everything.

Wesley at Chrominance perfectly sums up my thoughts about American vs. British attitudes towards cars. Here in LA the Speed channel on cable shows Fifth Gear and Motorweek back to back. The two shows are worlds apart. Fifth Gear is full of life and excitement, you can tell the hosts love what they do. They get into cars and drive the hell out of them, and it looks like they\’re having so much fun. Then Motorweek comes along and they\’re just going through the motions, trying to get through another half hour show without falling asleep.
British car magazines are like this too. Evo is my favorite; excellent writing, photography, and layout. It\’s expensive cause it\’s imported ($10), but it\’s totally worth it. Car and Top Gear are also good, but they\’re not quite as performance-oriented as Evo (they actually review SUVs and minivans!).
You can download Fifth Gear and Top Gear episodes off bit torrent from this site.

DVD File reviews the Ultimate Matrix Collection, the definitive 10-disc set. It includes all 3 movies, the Animatrix, the Matrix Revisited documentary that came out a couple years ago, and 5 discs of brand new behind-the-scenes material. I liked the movies, but christ, I don\’t know if I can sit through 25 hours of Matrix. For what you get, though, it actually seems pretty cheap at the $60 most online stores sell it for.

Ever wonder what the skeletons of cartoon characters look like? No, me neither. But anyway, this guy did some really neat drawings. Buttercup looks freaky.
