I finally posted some pictures from my 4th of July weekend trip to Arizona. The first night we stayed in Williams, near the entrance to the Grand Canyon. The next day we drove all the way around the side of the Grand Canyon and up to Page. Fun trip, but it was a lot of driving. There\’s a whole lot of nothing in Arizona, I never really realized how big the US is.

Bootleg Objects. These two German dudes turn old school hi-fi gear into modern computers. They do a very good job: the Bang & Olufsen machine looks factory-built. I wish they had pictures of the insides though, cause for all I know these things are just concepts.

Lian-Li\’s new PC-V1000 computer case looks similar to the Mac G5 case. It looks very well made, so I guess it\’s not a cheap rip-off. My house is really dusty though, I can\’t imagine what the inside of that thing would look like after a few months here.

Heh heh, the lock cup is pretty clever. If you\’re one of those people who really hates it when someone else uses your mug, this is for you. The cup has a hole in the bottom so drinks spill out, unless you insert the key, which plugs the hole, thereby allowing a beverage to be enjoyed.

Aid Workers Retrain Man Raised as Chicken
Sunjit Kumar was locked in a chicken coop for several years as a young boy, after his parents died and he was handed over to his grandfather.
He had little contact with humans during that time and picked up the habits of the birds.
This story is so weird. The guy has no mental defects, he just picked up the chicken\’s habits after living with them for so long. I bet he\’d freak out if they took him to a KFC.

This gallery of Looney Tunes title cards is neat. The fonts and graphics they use have a cool retro look, and when the title cards are separated from the actual cartoons they sort of become art in their own way.

Presenting the best photo in the world.
This one\’s good too but you can\’t see his face.

Lonely women pester Malaysia firemen
The country\’s head of civil defence says 97% of calls to the emergency number are either hoaxes or non-urgent.
Many of the calls, Jamal Arafin said, were from lonely women who had decided to dial a hunk.Note to self: Move to Malaysia; become fireman.

Some awesome Lego models of construction vehicles. These things actually work too! The dump truck can load and unload the dumpster the same way the real dump trucks do, and the excavator\’s arm is strong enough to lift the front of the excavator itself.
