  • Man In Bulldozer Rampage Found Dead

Trainor said the dozer\’s armor plates consisted of two sheets of half-inch steel with a layer of concrete between them.

Grand County Commissioner Duane Daley said Heemeyer apparently used a video camera and two monitors found inside to guide the dozer. Two guns were mounted in front and aimed through portals. Other portals were cut in the back.

Sounds like something from the A-Team.

  • \"Tank15 years after this famous picture was taken the identity of the man is still unknown.

No one knows whether he\’s dead or alive. Chinese activists and government officials say they aren\’t even sure of his name. After suddenly emerging to symbolize for the world the fierce power of the individual spirit in the face of martial rule, he vanished.

Interestingly, Chinese citizens don\’t even know about the infamous incident because it\’s censored by the government.

  • Tivoli Audio released the iPAL, a version of their PAL portable radio that matches the iPod. Looks like it\’s exactly the same as a regular PAL except for the color. I was thinking about buying one of their other radios, except I don\’t really listen to the radio that often.

  • I find this map/chart of generic names for soft drinks fascinating for some reason. So how do southerners distinguish between Coke the drink and coke the generic name for soft drinks? Is this what you hear at McDonald\’s all the time:

    \”I\’d like a coke please.\”
    \”What kind?\”
    \”Coke.\”

And what happened in North Dakota? There\’s a colony of \”soda\” users right in the middle of \”pop\” country. Who do these people think they are? Call it pop like everyone else in your state, you damn hippies.
