DPReview reviews the Canon EOS 300D, the first digital SLR camera to sell for under $1000 (it\’s $899 to be exact). It has fewer features than its bigger brother the EOS 10D, but it looks like they were just disabled in the software.

New 20 and 40 GB iPods that replace the 15 and 30 GB ones for the same price.

The excellent, but cancelled, show Firefly will be made into a movie. Also, the series will come out on DVD in December.
