Lebowski Fest is an annual festival dedicated to The Big Lebowski (one of the greatest comedies of all time). This year\’s celebration in Kentucky includes a midnight screening, pool party, costume contest, and a ringer toss. Jeff Dowd, the inspiration for The Dude, is also making an appearance. This is so cool. They also sell the poster of Nixon bowling.

Decotora are these incredible customized trucks cruising Japan\’s highways. Decorated with acres of chrome and lights and airbrushed murals, they look outrageous but I love them. I can\’t imagine that they\’re actually street-legal. Several more galleries here and here. Check out those night pictures, they literally look like Vegas on wheels!

This is so badass. Panasonic has created the world\’s first vacuum tube car stereo. The tube is visible in a little window right in the middle of the unit. It even has retro analog power meters. And it plays mp3s too. What more could you ask for?

Looks like it\’s not available in the US though. It\’s probably a little too high-end, it would get stolen right away.
