• Awww, Trent Reznor\’s not doing the soundtrack for Doom 3. The game project is taking too long, so instead he\’s working on the next NIN album. Bad news for the game, but on the other hand the next NIN album is probably coming soon.

  • The Wall Street Journal has an article about how to make it look like you\’re working hard. Heh heh heh. At the end there\’s a guide with several tips, such as setting an email timer so it looks like you\’re still working at 11:00 pm, and software that lets you control your work computer remotely.

  • Oh man, this is so cool. The Scare Factory sells special \”haunted furniture\” such as a set of drawers that slam in and out. Man, if I were a real estate agent I\’d put this stuff in my open houses.

  • Quicksilver, Neal Stephenson\’s follow-up to Cryptonomicon, is due September 23rd. The site has a short preview. It says it\’s \”Volume One of the Baroque Cycle\”, so I guess it\’s actually a prequel.

  • This is interesting. Computer game company Infogrames officially changed its name to Atari, after acquiring the brand 2 years ago. I guess they think the brand recognition will help sell more games. I wonder how much they bought it for.

  • The last (free) Animatrix episode, The Second Renaissance – Part 2 is now available online. The DVD with all the episodes is coming out June 3rd. Hmmm…I hope I don\’t get burned out on the Matrix before the last movie.

  • The Indiana Jones movies are finally coming to DVD on November 4th. The set will include a fourth disc of special features.
