Sony is focusing on good product designs to keep their market share against rivals. Sony\’s products are priced higher than its rivals but they still sell well, in part due to styling and brand image. I just hope that Sony doesn\’t go overboard. Focusing on design is one thing but they shouldn\’t neglect the technology too. For example, Sony\’s recent CD players look very stylish but the sound quality sucks compared to older models.

Israeli company GreyMagic Software discovered 5 security flaws in Opera 7. Three of the flaws allow a hacker to access your hard drive, and the other 2 are privacy breaches. Interestingly, GreyMagic says Opera is still safer than Internet Explorer.
