Free Radio Linux is broadcasting the Linux source code. That\’s right, the entire source code will be read out-loud over 593.89 days. Geez, I feel sorry for anyone who has to transcribe it. Not to mention if you miss a day and get totally lost.

Square USA is shutting down after just one movie. I thought Final Fantasy was good, but I guess not many other people did. But there\’s a bit of good news though: they\’re finishing up \”a 10-minute feature tied into the sequel to the highly popular film \”The Matrix.\” before they shut down.

Bitwise Operator: The Plain Truth About Piracy is about piracy of shareware software. Originally shareware worked on the honor system and the programmers trusted users to pay for the software. But then they had to start crippling software, where it stops working after 30 days or whatever. I\’m sure all you readers registered your copies of WinZip, right?

This is interesting, Microsoft sounds like it\’s finally taking some responsibility for buggy software. They\’re stopping new work for February to fix existing bugs. I wonder if one month is enough?

Some dude built a DAT tape loader out of Legos. Wow, is there anything they can\’t do? I wish he had some videos of the loader in action though.

Now the Playstation is a potential health risk. The vibrating controllers can lead to a condition called \”vibration white finger\”, an industrial disease commonly associated with miners and construction workers. I just find this very amusing for some reason.
