I finally installed a CD player in my car a few days ago and it rocks. It perfectly matches the dashboard lights and the VW\’s stock speakers actually sound pretty good with some power behind them. Now I can finally go cruising for hot chicks and impress them with my good taste in music and my German hatchback.

The Made DVD hits stores next Tuesday and it\’s filled with extras, including a commentary by Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn. I wish they would do a commentary for a new release of Swingers, that would be so money. Anyway, Made was a good movie and I think it\’s worth purchasing the DVD.

So we got a Dreamcast from Best Buy today. Damn, $50. Sega should\’ve done this a long time ago, then maybe they would\’ve sold more. We don\’t have any games yet, so we\’re just playing the demo disc right now. It looks pretty good so far. The graphics look great on a TV and the sound rocks.
The scene at Best Buy wasn\’t as crazy as I thought it would be. We only had to wait 2 minutes at the register. Black Friday my ass.

The Sega Dreamcast is now $50. That does it, I\’m getting one. Forget the Xbox and the PS2, you can\’t beat $50 for a console.

Heh heh, this photo speaks for itself.

Coat Hanger in Throat Gets Man in Trouble
A Kansas man who got a coat hanger stuck in his throat while trying to dislodge a balloon of cocaine he had swallowed faced possible criminal charges after doctors trying to remove the hanger discovered the drugs, police said Tuesday.
According to police, the man decided to stick the hooked end of a coat hanger into his throat in an effort to retrieve a small balloon he said he accidentally swallowed while at a party.
The guy probably told the doctor he \”fell on it.\”

Great article about slacking off and not working.
Being idle means being willing to live with two separate categories of unpleasantness: the unpleasantness of being broke all the time and therefore unable to buy things you want; and the unpleasantness of public opinion, of people calling you a lazy shit, of people telling you to get a life. But public opinion has it backwards; the people who really need to get a life are those who have no life because they are wasting theirs slaving away at some inane job that they detest but will not admit it.
I still don\’t have a job and I\’m pretty happy doing nothing all day.

The Amoeba Music record store in Hollywood opened yesterday. I didn\’t go in though, I just passed by. But if it\’s anything like the one in San Francisco, I know I\’ll be spending lots of money there.

DVD File reviewed the Hedwig and the Angry Inch DVD, scheduled for release on December 11th. It includes a documentary, commentary, deleted scenes, and Dolby Digital and DTS sound. Hedwig is one of my favorite movies from this year and I can\’t wait to see it again. Love the songs.
