I saw A Perfect Circle perform when they opened for NIN last year. At the time, I didn\’t think too much of their music. But then I read all these good reviews about them, and people were saying good things, so maybe I was wrong. I promised myself I\’d give them another listen. Well, I downloaded a few songs last night, and I still don\’t hear anything special about their music. Maybe it needs to be louder.

The new Godzilla SUV looks so cool I might even get one.

Lineage is an online RPG that\’s very popular in Korea. I think they take it a little too seriously. One guy, whose character was killed in the game, beat up the guy who killed him in real life. And real-life gangsters are guarding people in the game for money. 2 million people out of the country\’s population of 46 million have active accounts. Strange that I\’ve never heard of it here in the States.

Damn, I just found out I have 2 finals on Monday next week. For the longest time I thought they were Monday and Wednesday. On the other hand, I\’m done with finals by Monday. I can relax the rest of the week and start packing up my stuff. I can\’t believe how much stuff I\’ve collected over the last year.

Design Paul Champagne makes DVD boxset cases for sets of movies, such as the Evil Dead series, Criterion\’s John Woo movies, and Kevin Smith\’s Jersey trilogy. The cases are made of laser-engraved aluminum and look very damn cool.

Here\’s a great story about a teenager who attempted to build a nuclear reactor in his mom\’s gardening shed. He used household materials, aluminum foil, coffee filters, and duct tape. Scientists later surveyed the shed and detected radiation levels 1000 times higher than normal. Crazy. Hmmm…now I\’m starting to worry cause UCI has a nuclear reactor on campus…

Some dumbass paid $255 for the link to a website that\’s selling a GeForce 3 for $345. Not the actual product, just the url. Damn, I need to start doing scams like this.

So I went out for dinner with Irving and Kon and we were talking about how, after this quarter, none of the people we hang out with will be at UCI. Me, Kon, and basically all of my senior friends are graduating, Irving\’s transferring to Johns Hopkins, and Irving\’s current roommate is transferring to UCLA. Our friend Jason already left UCI last year to be a missionary in Venezuela. Anyway, that\’s kind of sad. We gots ta reprezent, yo.
Oh wait, my brother\’s still gonna be here. Nevermind, I\’m happy now.

Weird, I didn\’t know you could copyright language and culture. Three Polynesian tribes are suing Lego cause they used Polynesian culture in a game.

In more Simpsons-related items, The D\’oh! of Homer is a book that relates philosophy to the Simpsons. Apparently, Bart has something to do with Nietzsche and Homer displays Aristotle\’s virtues of character. I\’ll believe it when I read it.
