Well, I\’ve been studying all weekend and I think I know everything now. I guess I\’ll find out later today, eh?

How Film Is Transferred to Video is a useful article for explaining to people why they should watch widescreen instead of pan and scan.

Well, classes are over for this quarter, and that means it\’s finals time. Both my finals are on Monday, so don\’t expect many posts until Monday around 6:00 pm.

Electronics Boutique recently launched EB1, which allows you to download full games and play them for 72 hours for $4.99. Only 7 games are available right now, but a few are pretty good. This probably isn\’t so useful for those of you with 56k modems though. By the time you finish downloading the game your 72 hours will be over.

Job rejection letters by Jack Handey. My personal favorite is this one:
Dear Sir:
We are writing to find out what kind of carpeting and curtains you want in your new office. . . . Wait, we made a mistake. You\’re the wrong person. Oh, well, we\’re going to go ahead and send this letter to you anyway.
Sincerely,
Personnel Department

An unauthorized edited version of Star Wars Episode I is circulating around. It cuts 20 minutes from the original, including the majority of Jar Jar\’s scenes and Anakin\’s kid dialogue(the parts where he says \”Yay!\” and \”Oops!\”). I\’m interested in seeing a copy, just to see if it\’s better than the original.

I\’m so happy today. The presentation my group had to give in one of my classes went pretty smoothly. I was worried about it cause the guy who was presenting was kind of flaky and unreliable. And he hadn\’t done anything all quarter, so we made him do the presentation, kind of like a second chance.

Only in corporate America do they reward incompetence: PG&E; wants OK to double top executives\’ pay Court asked to approve $17 million in bonuses. Pacific Gas and Electric wants to pay $17.5 million to the management team that led the company into bankruptcy.

Good news: Office XP Already Cracked. Yes, even with all the product activation and subscription shit, Office was still cracked. I hope the irony\’s not lost on Microsoft.
