So I finally got around to shooting a test roll with that new camera I got a month ago, remember? Fucking hell, only 10 exposures out of 24 came out ok. I don\’t know what happened to the others, but only about 1/8th of an inch of each frame was exposed. I really hope it\’s the film itself that was messed up, not my camera. I\’m gonna shoot another roll as fast as I can.

I took my little change jar down to Albertson\’s cause they have a change machine there, and I don\’t want to carry all those coins back home when I move out. Anyway, the total came to $54.57. I had almost $55 worth of pennies, nickels, and dimes sitting in my drawer! Actually, I had around $60 in change (the machine takes 8.9 cents for every dollar), but still, that\’s a lot of freaking money. Forget Vegas, I\’m going to the market from now on.

I got back from my first final yesterday and a small crowd was standing around the stairs leading up to the apartment above mine. Two police cars were also parked along the road. My roommate said that one of the girls upstairs had stabbed her roommate in the forehead with scissors. Jesus. I can\’t imagine anything that would cause someone to stab her roommate. And I can\’t imagine that 2 people could not get along so much. Now one girl is in the hospital and the other\’s probably in jail.

I\’ve been lucky. All of my roommates for the past 4 years have been cool, and we got along fine. Well, there was 1 guy that I didn\’t have anything in common with, but at least we got along, he just didn\’t say much.

I\’m gonna start calling the apartment upstairs \”The Stabbing Apartment\” from now on. That place gives me the creeps.

The Godfather DVD collection will finally be released on October 9th. All 3 movies and an extra disc with a 73 minute documentary, behind the scenes material, cut scenes, and interviews. Nice packaging too.

Japan had a really fucked up \”reality\” TV show. They took this guy named Nasubi, stripped him naked, and locked him in an apartment with no food or clothing. The only way he could get stuff was to win it through contests. So if he wanted food, he had to fill out postcards and enter contests and hope he would win. He had to win $10,000 worth of prizes before they let him out of the apartment. And apparently the guy didn\’t know anything about the contest when he auditioned for it. Man, they have sadistic game shows in Japan.

Oh man, there\’s 3 shows coming up I want to go to: The Aquabats at the Glasshouse on June 22nd, ohGr at the House of Blues on July 1st, and Rammstein at the Palace on July 4th. And I thought summer was going to be boring.
