• Noel told me our school\’s photo lab isn\’t open this summer. I was counting on it to ease my boredom. I was planning to take a lot of pictures and make a lot of prints this summer, but I guess not. Now I have to get my pictures developed at one of those 1 hour places, which isn\’t nearly as much fun. Hmmm…maybe I\’ll get a film scanner and go digital, but a good film scanner costs way more than I can afford. I have a feeling this summer\’s gonna be real boring.

  • Digital Photography Review, er, reviewed the Nikon D1x, my new dream camera. Sadly, I\’d probably never touch 95% of its features. Nikon needs to make a digital pro/consumer level SLR camera that someone like me can actually afford.

  • Pearl Harbor Video Scam Laid Bare
    The first 5 minutes of the bootleg are from Pearl Harbor, but the rest is from a porno. I wonder what movie the porno was. Saving Ryan\’s Privates? Schindler\’s Fist?

  • Damn that Courtney Love. Now she\’s trying to prevent the release of the last song recorded by Kurt Cobain. It was supposed to have been part of a Nirvana box set coming out later this year. She\’s also fighting with Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl over control of Nirvana\’s song catalog, saying that they didn\’t do anything in the band, it was all Kurt.

  • Psion presents 2 cool-looking concept PDAs, ACE and HALO. ACE has 3 separate screens that rotate out of the main device, and HALO is worn around the neck and projects images onto surfaces. I think portable devices are getting better and better looking. Even though I have no use for a PDA, I might get one in the future just cause of how cool they are.
