Here\’s a little guerrilla warfare for you: print up some bumper stickers that say \”I\’m Changing the Climate!\” and stick them on SUVs. Irvine\’s the perfect place to find Expeditions and Tahoes and Suburbans to tag.

Things that piss me off: People who get to class early and sit on the end of the rows so that everyone else has to climb over them. These are the same people who get annoyed when someone climbs over them. Stupid fuckers, it\’s your own fault.

Scientific American has a good article about supercavitation. You take a torpedo or a submarine and you surround it with an envelope of gas. The water barely touches the object\’s surface, and that reduces drag so the object can travel very fast underwater. Cool stuff, although \”supercavitation\” sounds like something your dentist hates.

So working on Sunday wasn\’t as bad as I thought. The office was locked when I arrived at 12, so I was kind of hoping I could go home. But my boss arrived 5 minutes later. Nuts. He only wanted me to work 4 hours, so exactly at 4 I bolted, right in the middle of installing Windows NT. Nuts to that, I have better things to do. I got some boba on the way home, and then I studied more or less continuously until now.

Heh heh, my roommate\’s been playing a lot of lame, repetitive drum n\’ bass shit lately, so when his song ended I quickly clicked \”play\” on Merzbow\’s Rainbow Electronics. After about five minutes he left the room. If you\’ve never heard any Merzbow songs, it\’s essentially electronically manipulated static, hissing, grinding, tape feedback, microphone hum, and noise. Heh heh heh.

Finally finished studying for one class. Argh, I wasted the whole afternoon. I think I\’ll take a break before I start studying for my other class. My SLC Punk DVD arrived today. I\’m really tempted to watch that right now, but if I do that I\’ll never get back to studying. Fuck it, I\’ll save it for Monday night after midterms are over.

Damnit, my whole weekend\’s gonna be wasted. I have 2 midterms on Monday I need to study for. And tomorrow my boss wants me to come in to work. Work! On a Sunday! That\’s fucking terrible. Thank god I don\’t have to wear a tie or drive a long commute, or I\’d be really pissed off.
