They\’ve really done a lot with PDAs now, like the Eye Module 2, a digital camera add-on to Visors. The camera is a Springboard module that you stick into the Springboard slot. It\’s small, allowing you to take sneaky candid pictures of people without their knowledge. The max resolution is only 640 x 480 though, and according to the review the quality isn\’t so good. The review doesn\’t include any sample pictures, unfortunately.

I went to a military surplus store today and got 2 pairs of \”combat trousers\”(really, that\’s what it says on the tags!) I get home, I try them on, and I start finding little stickers hidden all over 1 of the pants. 2 stickers were on the upper, inner thigh, near the crotch. Then there was 1 sticker hidden on the inside of each of the 4 pocket flaps. What the hell? It\’s like the store clerks were having a contest to see who could hide the most stickers. I got my negatives processed at Pro Photo on Friday. I\’m happy to announce that most of my pictures came out ok, from what I can see at least. I\’m still not entirely confident in my ability to use a fully manual SLR camera. When I took a photography class last summer I had so many bad photos. And this time I took some night shots, which are tricky to meter and expose properly. I\’ll find out the results of my efforts when I make prints later this week. I need to get to the photo lab.
