• I wish I could\’ve worked at a dot com so I could get laid off and slack around all day like these people. Actually, now that I think about it, I do slack off a lot. Except I still have to go to college occasionally.

  • We rented Blair Witch 2 on Friday. Let\’s just say I\’m glad I didn\’t spend $8 to see it in the theaters. It was nothing like the first one. The trailer showed the scariest parts. Even the brief nudity couldn\’t make up for how bad it is. The soundtrack sucked too. The first Blair Witch soundtrack had Skinny Puppy and Bauhaus. Blair Witch 2 has Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. Not a step in the right direction, guys. Isn\’t there supposed to be a third movie too?

  • It\’s been raining all day and I had to drive back to Irvine through it. That really sucked. I\’m never leaving my apartment ever again.

\”Internal communications are in turmoil,\” confesses a high-ranking Bush aide known as Frenchy, though he doesn\’t know why. \”The president says get me Knuckles on the line, or where\’s The Eskimo, or let Bones and uptown handle this,\” he laments, \”and nobody has a clue as to who he\’s talking about.\”

  • I first \”heard\” John Cage\’s song 4\’33\” in an arts class I took. If you\’ve never heard of it, the performer goes to a piano, opens the lid, and does absolutely nothing for 4 minutes and 33 seconds. Then he closes the lid and leaves. That\’s it, that\’s the entire song. Apparently the song was supposed to be the noises the audience makes and the sounds of the surrounding environment. I thought John Cage was a pretty clever guy. The real story behind 4\’33\” is much deeper though, as shown in The Sounds of Silence.
