I\’m trying to plan my classes for next quarter and they almost all conflict. And some of the classes I want to take are part of a sequence, and the first class is only offered once a year, so I have to wait till next year to take the whole sequence. So I have pretty much nothing to take next quarter. Stupid UCI. It\’s a wonder people ever graduate in 4 years.

I\’m listening to Senor Coconut\’s cover of Kraftwerk\’s Homecomputer, and if you haven\’t heard the song, at the beginning a voice repeats \”It\’s more fun to compute.\” Noel hears that and asks, \”Than what?\” I dunno, doing it by hand I guess. They should make that the ICS slogan. I can see it now:
Information and Computer Science
\”It\’s more fun to compute.\”Then over at the math department you\’ll see:
Mathematics
\”No it\’s not.\” -
In the newest issue of Revolver is an interview with Trent Reznor and Roger Waters of the legendary Pink Floyd. I\’ve been listening to some Pink Floyd recently and I have to say, there\’s definitely some similarities to NIN.

I was having troubles with my ftp most of the night, so that last post didn\’t get published until a minute ago.

I went home for the weekend, so there weren\’t any posts. Saturday afternoon we went to a dinky computer show in Pasadena. All together I\’d say there were 5 dealers; 2 sold shitty used junk and none had what I wanted. So that was a waste. Also watched Charlie\’s Angels. I really liked the attitude of the movie, that fun, don\’t take things too seriously feeling. Music was cool too. And, damn, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, and Drew Barrymore are really hot. I mean, they were hot before Charlie\’s Angels, but they\’re even hotter now. They\’re magically babelicious.
This morning me and my brother went to a big comic book show in LA. I used to collect comics, but I stopped a few years ago. Anyway, I didn\’t have anything else to do today so I thought I might go to a show again just to see what\’s happening. When we were waiting in line, we saw these 3 dudes in stormtrooper costumes walking towards us. For just a brief moment I thought they were going to hassle us. Arnold Schwarzenegger was supposed to be there, but we left before he came. The cast of Dungeons and Dragons was also there, although the only person I knew was Thora Birch from American Beauty. We didn\’t stick around to hear any dorky questions the audience was bound to ask though. My brother picked up Ash and Kaneda toys. I got a few issues of Dark Minds, a cool anime-style comic. While we were walking around, who should we see but Dr. Zaiuss from Planet of the Apes, sitting at a little table by himself. It was kind of sad actually, this old man being ignored by most of the people there. So we ignored him too and moved on. Anyway, the comic show was fun, if only to find out that my old comics are worth absolutely nothing. -
Millions of Dollars Found Under Floor.
\”Australian police said on Friday they found about A$4 million (US$2.1 million) in plastic bags and toolboxes hidden under the floorboards of a suburban home after thieves allegedly used a stolen bank card nearly 7,000 times.\”
Wow, $2.1 million dollars worth of plastic bags and toolboxes. Who the hell would want that many plastic bags and toolboxes?

Check out this combination video camera, digital camera, and printer in a $1399 package. Apparently the video is pretty good, but the digital pictures and the camera aren\’t that great.

IRVING: I did it all for the nookie
ME: Did you take the cookie?
ME: And stick it up your yah?Damn, Limp Bizkit sucks.

Me and Irving saw Red Planet tonight. I thought it was very cool, way better than Mission to Mars. I haven\’t seen any good sci-fi movies in a while, so this sated my thirst.
