  • The Se7en DVD will finally be released December 19th. Looks like there\’s going to be lots of cool supplemental stuff, like Fincher\’s other movie Fight Club.

  • I had a midterm today and it didn\’t test half the stuff I studied. Yeesh, I hate that. Anyway, after class I picked up tickets for The Aquabats at Chain Reaction Thursday night. It\’s their \”Halloween Massacre\” show, according to their website. That\’s gonna be so cool.

  • When you wear headphones, do you run the cable under your shirt to keep it out of the way? This shirt was specifically designed with that in mind, as it has a cool porthole in the middle you can put your headphone cable through. Of course, you could also cut a hole in your shirt yourself, but that just makes you look poor and cheap. Xlarge also has jackets and backpacks with portholes. Now they just need pants with a porthole over the crotch and they\’re all set.

  • If you haven\’t heard, Stephen King was releasing his latest novel serially over the web. Payment was based on the honor system, and if less than 75% of people paid he wouldn\’t release any more parts. Well, people have been paying, cause he\’s releasing the fourth part.

    I think the whole don\’t-release-more-unless-people-pay thing is a good idea, but it probably only works because King\’s famous. If some unknown writer tried the same thing people would tell him to fuck off, gimme the other parts.

    says that Napster actually helped Radiohead\’s Kid A reach number 1 on
    the charts. Mp3s of songs on the album were available months ago, yet
    when the album was actually released it still reached number 1.
    Apparently mp3s are similar to radioplay, so Radiohead gets lots of
    exposure. Very cool.

  • Well, I had a lame weekend. I have an assignment due Tuesday so I\’ve been hacking all weekend. Most of the weekend anyway. Then tomorrow they\’re fumigating my apartment so I have to stay away from 12:00 noon till 7:00 or so. I don\’t know why they didn\’t fumigate during the summer. They had all summer to do it. Morons.
