• Hmmm…there\’s a party going on upstairs, and…uh…we weren\’t invited. Time to take the law into my own hands.

  • I went back home for a few hours today. Picked up my new glasses. They\’re a little stronger so everything looks a little distorted. Also went to the Getty museum and shot a roll of film. It seemed like everyone there who had an SLR camera also had a huge lens. And I mean huge, like 2-liter bottle of Pepsi size lenses. All I have is a dinky little 50 mm lens. Ah well, I guess the important thing is how you use it.

  • I saw The Way of the Gun at the Block yesterday. It was ok, I guess, but a little slow in some parts. The shoot-outs were great and it was funny too, especially the part at the beginning. Before the movie they showed the trailer for Blair Witch 2, which, surprisingly, looks kinda cool. It looks like they have a much bigger budget this time.

  • City Breaks Its Own French Fry Record. Is this really something to be proud of? I\’m far from being a health nut, but this just screams \”Our population has the highest cholesterol in the U.S. of A.\”

  • WORK: People Talking About Their Jobs. Surprisingly, lots of these stories are very interesting. There\’s enough reading material to keep you entertained for a week here.

  • I stopped by a camera store after work today and found a nice lens. It\’s one of the old manual focus types, all metal and glass. None of that modern, plastic autofocus shit for me. That\’s how fucking hardcore I am, man.

  • Have some empty Altoids boxes lying around? Why not turn some into flashlights?

  • I\’m using the cool black IntelliStation computer at work today. The keyboard and mouse are black too. I\’m the man. All these other beige computers is my bitches.

  • My odometer reached 129,000 miles tonight. It\’s the most exciting thing that\’s happened all summer. I\’m going to cry.
