This is so cool that I must post it: Sacked Intel
Geek Wreaks Terrible Revenge. This Intel employee was fired, so the
next day he sabotages Intel\’s fabrication plant. Fight the power! Don\’t
take any shit from anybody. The article doesn\’t mention why the guy was
fired, but if it was for an unjust reason, such as age discrimination
(he was 62), I completely support him.

Ah ha! No wonder Survivor is so popular.
13% of viewers \”Are big longtime fans of Ramona, the Edison, NJ, chemist.\” I
actually watched last week\’s episode and I liked it, if only for the
cute college girl(s) in bikinis. -
Four high
school seniors were not allowed to go to their graduation for
publishing an \”underground newspaper.\” Now I remember why I hated high
school. Fortunately I never got into any trouble when I made a zine in
high school. Although, one time someone tried to get me busted. One of
my school counselors found a copy of my zine on the principal\’s desk and
took it before the principal saw it. Apparently someone had put it there
hoping the principal would read it and say \”That\’s obscene and
offensive, we need to suspend this kid.\” Although it\’s kinda cool that
my counselor saved me, it\’s fucked up that someone wanted to get me in
trouble over it. -
News of the obvious: Game
Show Bride Says She Posed Nude for the Money. -
\”Radioactive Cylinder Kills Three.\” I think this deserves a big Homer Simpson \”Doh!\”

So finally we start seeing laptops and web appliances that use Transmeta\’s Crusoe processor. Apparently notebooks that use Crusoe have an 8 hour battery life and don\’t generate as much heat as regular notebooks. Sounds like very exciting stuff. I might even buy a Crusoe notebook when they\’re finally for sale later this year.

I haven\’t been posting much lately. Mostly cause I\’ve been busy with summer school and apartment life and all that. It\’s kind of weird when you come home from class, expecting to eat lunch, and then you realize you have to cook lunch yourself. Doh! So I had a frozen burrito for lunch. Well, I microwaved it first, of course. Eating it cold would\’ve just been silly. But anyway, I have a lot more things to do, so…
